Editorial Reviews:
Product Description In Uneven Development, a classic in its field, Neil Smith offers the first full theory of uneven geographical development, entwining theories of space and nature with a critique of capitalist development. Featuring pathbreaking analyses of the production of nature and the politics of scale, Smith anticipated many of the uneven contours that now mark neoliberal globalization. This third edition features an afterword updating the analysis for the present day.

great development June 20, 2000 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
I think that it is a great book, for all those geographers or of other diciplines interested in the space aspects, the ones that are in this book in a very good fundamental argument about the development of the term space production and the factors that influence in the unequal production in a capitalist system
