5 out of 5 stars Kindle info   January 6, 2009

I bought a Kindle for my mother for Christmas and decided to get her this book to help her learn how to use it. It helps that she has a book to read and explain how to use the Kindle, instead of reading on the machine itself and not knowing what you are doing. By having the book she can experiment and learn all the keys and have a refernce on hand that she can always refer back to.br /This book has a wealth of information and is a great addition to the Kindle itsefl. I would espcially recommend it for someone who is not completely comfortable with using comptuers.

5 out of 5 stars This book is a MUST have!!!   January 2, 2009

Without this book, the Kindle is just an eReader. With it, it is an essential part of my traveling kit - whether on vacation or just to get gas. I had no idea how innovative and indispensible the Kindle is until I read the book. A definite must have. I think it should be made an integral part of any Kindle purchase.

5 out of 5 stars A must for first time Kindle owners   December 30, 2008

This guide is so well written. It is easy to understand and has so much more information in it than the guide that comes with the Kindle. I have learned so many more things about my Kindle and feel very comfortable with it now, even though I am not a techie at all! Great links, tips, info... this is a must have.

5 out of 5 stars Makes me feel so smart   December 29, 2008

I downloaded this document the day after receiving my Kindle and read it cover to cover on the Kindle within a day. I took breaks only to let my brain absorb all that it imparted. I have found a lot of tips and shortcuts that I didn't know were available on the Kindle even after having read the complete owner's manual that was loaded on the device. For example, did you know that you can find out what time it is with a couple of keystrokes on the Kindle? It is a "must read" for anyone who owns or is thinking about owning a Kindle. Thanks Stephen for all the information included in the book.br /br /

br /Kindlebr /br /I am a reader. I truly enjoy having the kindle. It is easy to carry and bring with you and read it anywhere. I have three books on it at present. Carry one item and not 3 books. If you are a reader, definitely check into a kindle.
