Very Informational December 17, 2008 This book was perfect for a book report I was doing in college for Business Law, It gave me insight to why AIG fell apart and how they, did this to themselves., A book to read if you want to know why and how!
Very informative November 29, 2008 I purchased this book to use for a research paper. It was very helpful and interesting. You can tell the author was a novice - some things are not worded very well or read awkwardly - but definitely an eye-opener about big business in America.
History of AIG May 18, 2008 An easy to read book on the history of AIG, how it started (in Shanghai, China), how it transitioned, how they grew from coast to coast, and how Mr Maruice Greenberg was being ousted from the Board he hand-picked. Very exciting and engaging. Can be read within couple of hours. Solid read. Steven Lim (RSTN) Singapore.
hank greenburg aig book April 22, 2008 I work at AIG and think the history presented in this book is interesting, however it's not a very well written book. I found grammatical errors and I didn't find it to flow well. It seemed to me to be hastily written and/or not edited well.
Decent background of AIG September 26, 2007 I bought this book to help me through my interview process at AIG. In short - It helped and was worth my time and money. AIG is really Hank Greenberg, and knowing the background of Hank Greenberg helps understand the culture of AIG. While there are spelling mistakes in the book, its well written, and worth a read if you are interested in the company.br /br /By the way, the job is great. br /
